Some kind soul is twittercasting this season’s Red Sox games in redsoxcast. This makes me very, very happy.

Here’s an example of what makes this so cool, from yesterday’s game:

  1. hober: d redsoxcast what were dice-k’s final numbers? (pitch count, innings, etc.)
  2. twitter: redsoxcast: Matsuzaka’s numbers: 7.0 innings. 1 run on 6 hits. 1 walk and 10 strikeouts. 108 pitches thrown, 74 for strikes.

The ability of interested followers to affect immediate, positive influence on the quality of the broadcast — that’s pretty cool if you ask me.

  1. I'm glad you enjoy the twittercast. Makes it all the more worthwhile to do. It must be tough being a Sox fan in California.

Opening day at Fenway is less than an hour away!
